Lakeview Library first opened its doors to the public in 1967. It was built as a centennial project commemorating Canada’s 100-year anniversary. In 2010, the library underwent renovation and re-opened its doors in June 2011 with improvements designed to better serve the growing and changing needs of local neighbourhood communities.
